Job descriptions:
Techs will be required to make weakly visits to their designated dealerships on designated routs for vehicle inventory updates through data and image collection and processing. There will be a three week training and evaluation period for all potential employees, this will be monitored by a member of our management team.
Data collection services include:
Visually inspecting vehicles, using proprietary software to enter the pertinent information into a company provided laptop. Then taking digital photos of all vehicles, using proprietary software to link those photos to their corresponding vehicles. Techs will then print and install equipment list, and federally required warranty stickers (Buyers Guides) for all vehicles.
Our service area includes but not limited to:
Mesa County (Grand Junction ect.), Delta County (Delta, Montrose ect.), Summit County (Silverthorne, Breckenridge ect.), la Plate County (Durango, Cortez, ect) and parts of eastern Utah. Thus, a clean driving record and valid Colorado driver’s license are required. You may also need to move cars on the dealerships lots therefore a working knowledge of a manual shift transmission is also required.
Pay:
Techs pay is based on a percentage of gross sales contributed by his or her route. Invoices must be turned in every Friday to insure prompt and accurate pay. Checks will be one week recessed. Techs average between 15 to 25 dollars an hour to start, with an average of $400.00 a week. Pay will vary depending on the efficiency of the individual tech. Our most efficient tech is making an average of $60 dollars an hour with an average of $550 dollars a week, working only 3 and a half days a week. All techs are considered independent contractors and thus will be receiving a 1099 at the end of the work year.
Dress Code:
We can not stress enough the need for punctuality, curtsies and politeness towards clients. Techs must consistently maintain a groomed, professional appearance. (Business Causal.)
